So I disappeared for a little bit, but I have good news. I reached All-Star ranking in the Altador Cup on Neopets. Yes I know, I’m a total nerd for getting excited over that, but I don’t care.

I’m going to update a few things tomorrow. I can finally get back to doing other things now that I’m done busting my ass over a game lol. First off, I’d like to say happy summer to everyone! It doesn’t feel like we’ve had spring here, just an extended winter.

Anywho, I’ve been working on a few things for my site that I’d like to add soon. I’m currently trying to figure out the dynamic sidebar for Wordpress. I’m following the tutorial that Melissa at guitarangel.net wrote up, but since I’m still a bit of a newbie with Wordpress code I’m taking it slow.

I’ve been a bit distracted by the annual Altador Cup that began on Neopets last week. It’s day six into double round robin, and I’m already way ahead where I was last year at this time. I’m having fun, but I wish my team was winning more. I think we’re just off to a rough start.

I’ve been working on this new layout for a little over a week. I’m so happy that it’s finally up. I have a huge list in my notebook of things that I want to change. For right now, I just revamped the pages to go with the new layout. I don’t have a whole lot to say at the moment, but I wanted to blog about the layout.

I just wanted to make a quick update. I washed my quilt, and I had to delete a lot of patches in the process. I’m also working on a new layout for my site. I’ve been a busy little bee lately, but I would rather be really busy than be bored with nothing to do.

So surprise surprise, I was a little MIA again. This time I have good news though. I’m done with my other site! Right now I’m just working out some little bugs that show up in older versions of IE, and then I just have to add the meta and I’ll be done. You can visit my design site at

So my birthday was almost a week ago on the 25th. For the most part it was good. There is a little something that’s still bothering me right now that happened on my birthday, but I’d rather not talk about it at this point in time.

Anywho, highlights from my birthday: My Mom and David took me to the casino. David gave me $40 for my birthday to use there. I was “winning” at first, then just decided to have fun. We went out for lunch at a Chinese restaurant that I really like. Then we had ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. My Mom got me $200 in gift cards (Macy*s and Victoria’s Secret) since I didn’t really know what I wanted. David’s sister and niece gave me a $21 gift card to Jack In The Box. My great grandma gave me $50. Nate took me shopping at Victoria’s Secret. My Dad got me a beautiful white gold and diamond ring, and his girlfriend got me a shirt and some flowers.

The day after my birthday I tried my first drink. I bought some Smirnoff, and have tried apple and watermelon since then. They were ok. I’m glad I waited until I was 21 to drink. Yay for me.
